Pump chamber for pressure sewer systems and wastewater collection applications

PKS 1000-65/80 is designed for applications with high wastewater loads and higher-capacity pumps. It is ideally suited for apartment buildings, commercial properties and other demanding wastewater applications requiring high-performance pumping solutions.

The buoyancy-proof and trafficable plastic sump made of high-quality polypropylene (PP) complies with DIN EN 13598-2. It is used in conjunction with pressure drainage systems and as a wastewater collection sump in combination with gravity sewers. It is suitable for use in trafficable areas (DIN EN 124 Group 4). The PKS-D 1000 can be installed on undisturbed ground without any concrete work. The modular design enables easy transport and installation.
The sump features one inlet spigot, two sealed openings for ventilation/cable pipes, a flushing connection option, and pressure outlets DN 80.
The standard installation depth without cover is 2.77 m. By using shaft extensions, the installation depth can be increased to 4.90 m (maximum submersion depth in groundwater: 5 m). The total volume is 1,764 litres. The retention volume up to the bottom edge of the inlet is 395 litres.
To adapt the pump stations to the required pumping conditions, an extensive selection of channel impeller pumps and vortex pumps with and without explosion protection is available.

Scope of supply

PKS-D 1000-D65 /D80 (Duplex units)
The poly-sump consist of an underpart with an inlet and a discharge branch, an extension element with tie-bar, a cone 1000/625 and a concrete support ring for the manhole cover (accessory). The segments are sealed with sealing rings.

Inlet socket DN/OD 160 (DN 150) for PVC collar (KGU), 2 sockets DN 100 for ventilation/cable duct, 1 socket plug DN 100,
2 guide rail systems, pipework with non-return valves in DN 80, facility for flushing connection system “Perrot”
