In 2012, Pepperl & Fuchs Kft. decided to expand its production hall in Veszprém. The construction work included enlarging the factory kitchen and canteen, extending social rooms, building a loading ramp, and constructing a fire water reservoir.

Challenge
Gravity drainage for wastewater from the kitchen and sanitary facilities, as well as rainwater from the loading ramp, was not possible due to insufficient slope. A reliable and durable solution for the wastewater lifting station and rainwater drainage was required.
Our Solution
For the wastewater lifting station, the Jung Pumpen MultiFree 25/2 AW was selected.
- Features: Vortex impeller, DN65 pressure connection, 65 mm free passage, clog-resistant – ideal for demanding industrial drainage applications.
For rainwater drainage at the loading ramp, Jung Pumpen US 62 D pumps were installed.
- Features: Vortex impeller, suitable for pre-filtered rainwater, available in single-phase and three-phase versions, optional built-in float switch.
Additionally, Jung Pumpen provided a solution for water level control in the fire water reservoir to compensate for evaporation losses. This is achieved through precipitation and, during dry periods, by feeding tap water into the reservoir.
