With Splitfix, Pentair Jung Pumpen is expanding its range to include a compact, freestanding grease separator. It is designed for businesses with low to medium levels of grease in their wastewater, such as those in the catering and food processing sectors. The modular system is available in five sizes and can be expanded as required with various accessory sets.
Grease separators are mandatory wherever grease-laden wastewater is produced – for example in restaurants, commercial kitchens, canteens, snack bars, hotels, butchers’ shops or in food processing. They prevent fats, oils and solids from entering the sewer system, where they can cause damage.
Modular design and a wide range of size options
With Splitfix, Pentair Jung Pumpen offers a compact grease separator for free-standing installation within a building. It is ideal for the discharge of greasy wastewater in businesses with low to medium grease loads. Splitfix is available in five different sizes and with a choice of right- or left-hand flow direction. A sampling container (accessory) is available in three different sizes. Each size is available with either a vertical or horizontal outlet. The grease separator can be expanded modularly with six different accessory sets.
Compact, durable and easy to maintain
The Splitfix indoor grease separator enables odour-free, enclosed disposal. Thanks to its compact design and free-standing installation without the need for civil engineering works, installation is simple and retrofitting into existing buildings is easily possible. The tank, made of high-quality polyethylene, is durable and corrosion-resistant. Maintenance can be done from two sides, which is particularly helpful in confined spaces. An integrated inspection window makes it easier to check the grease level and plan emptying. The modular accessory concept offers flexible expansion options, such as a mixer, disposal pump or automatic filling device.
Everything from a single source
If the outlet of the grease separator is below the backflow level or if backflow protection is missing, the latter must be ensured. Pentair Jung Pumpen offers suitable lifting systems from the Compli range to complement the grease separator, which significantly simplifies planning and installation.
